Friday was long overdue this week I thought, but it was a good day overall.  It was Team Acknowledgements at my school, which makes a different kind of teaching day for us.  Eli got another "awesome day" report, but his normal teacher has been on vacation this week and he sure is going to miss this young teacher.  He blows her kisses every afternoon when we leave and she tells him bye a million times.  It's nice seeing someone else care about your child that much, especially when you are a teacher yourself and care for others whole-heartedly on an everyday basis.

Friday ended with a boom...literally.  Eli has a chair and he is always trying to be a stunt man in it.  He has no fear so as we watched, said no and jumped up, Eli went right over the arm of the chair.  Even though it's short, the thing is he landed on the ONE part that we don't have those bright, colorful squares you've seen in all the pictures.  SO, don't be surprised if when you look at my blog tomorrow you see the huge goose egg on his forehead... *Sigh*
