Back to reality...#7

Well today was back to reality, at least for the most part.  It was Eli's day back to daycare after being home with mommy for almost 3 weeks now and it was mommy's day back to work, but without students just yet.

My day didn't go as planned, but the work days never do.  I plan on accomplishing SO much but then something comes up, or you have five hundred different meetings.  Oh well.

This week is something new for Eli because this is his "transition week."  Every day this week for a couple of hours in the morning and a couple of hours in the afternoon, he goes and visits the toddler classroom and gets to know the other kids and teachers.  He stays in his room for lunch & naps, so it isn't a complete new surrounding just yet.

How did it go you ask?  Let's see...

It went well.  Transition day 1 was a success, but he only had one nap today since he was so busy being social with the others.  That resulted in needing the pacifier (which he only wants when he's sleepy) and lots of relaxing on the couch and watching Backyardigans before bedtime.  Hope day #2 is a success as well!
