One of the worst things you can experience is when your child is sick, especially when they are an infant/toddler and can't tell you what's wrong yet. They cry and whine and are pityful and you ask them questions..."Are you hot? Do your ears hurt?" Like they are just going to answer yes. I guess it's just hope. You hope if you say stuff out loud you can figure out what's wrong.
Hopefully Eli is on the mend. He started his antibiotic today along with alternating tylenol and ibroprofren (spelling?) to keep his fevers down. I guess at one point some or all of the meds kicked in because he sure was happy for a short spell running all over the house non-stop in just a diaper and shirt while carrying his blankie and paci. Whatever works...
